As part of providing a more modern service delivery, manual certificates are being phased out and will only be issued as a contingency measure. The NDH will support the move to electronic certification. Staff will enter all NOI forms (EX28) through EXDOC, and then issue clients with electronic certification. Clients will be charged according to the fees relating to manual certification, and are therefore encouraged to move to electronic documentation. This can be achieved by employing the services of an agent or procuring third party software and completing the required training for electronic export certificate accreditation.

With all certificates being issued through EXDOC, proforma certificates will be phased out, as all electronic certificates will be printed either in a plant exports regional office or to the client’s nominated location.
